For Sale: Something Cute Wants to Come Home With You!

 Say hi to Sherri.
I just listed my first actual doll for sale! Last year around this time I didn't have a job and I made several dolls that had funny shaped heads as gifts for my nieces. I have lots of fun making and designing them. I'm hoping in the future to add more details and outfits you can buy. I also really enjoy making up funny little stories and names for them. Although I am a novice sewer, I feel like the more I make, the more I learn.

Please take some time to check out my etsy store! I appreciate it!

Sneak Peak

Here is a sneak peak of a few things I've been working on. I've been hard at work sketching, designing, and sewing.

This is a sketch from my sketchbook of my little mushroom bandit. She is now on a canvas with a mysterious backdrop for all her diabolical mischief. She's not complete yet, I've had to step away to gain some insight on how to finish her up. But I do plan to make some screenprinted totes with her on them, to spread her mischief around the world...

I usually tend to make gifts for people, then later realize I should keep making those because they are super cute! I made these lovely Funny Head Girls for my nieces. I am new to sewing and have been teaching myself, so sometimes I make mistakes, but in this case I loved that their heads came out funny shaped. Right now I am working on new patterns for my doll line. I can't wait to share with you all the new Funny Head Girls.

This Pink Power Ranger plushie also started out as a gift, and now I am making 2 more! These have been super popular with my friends and can't wait to see where I go from here on this fun project!

What are you working on these days? Leave me a link in the comments, I'd like to check it out and support you! xo

Sweetcakes

Today was my short day at work and I had lots of errands to run. When I pulled into the driveway, this cute face was waiting on me. He took the afternoon off to hang out and help me out with the errands and house cleaning. Sweetest boyfriend ever!

Ps This is us a few years ago riding a ferry to Vashon Island where Bill Gates lives. It was neat.

I need to get sewing on all the things I need to sew...(image from WeHeartIt)

I recently finished painting my Tom's from when they came and did this music festival that I didn't get to go to after ordering my shoes because of work...lol...I need to take better pics of them, but they are on my facebook...well a few pics...these are awesome and by Janel.
I was getting into the holiday spirit last week and sketched a little sketch...

Today Calleycakes came over and helped me with the Thrift Store Cowboys cupcakes for their 10 year Anniversary Show that is tomorrow! I think they turned out cute! The toppers can be found on Elsie's blog. The mustaches are perfect for these guys!
