Meet My Momma

Since it's Mother's Day, and I can't hang out with my momma today (b/c I have to work and I live several hours away), I thought I'd dedicate this post to her.

My mom was one of those bad ass single mom's (for the most part), who give up their entire lives for their kids because they love them...yup that's my mom.

There are 3 instances in my life that I wish I would've listened to my mom.

1. That I shouldn't have dated Chris.

2. Not to get credit cards (at least without supervision lol)

3. What I should've got my degree in.

So the best advice that I give most of the kids who work with me when they bitch about their parents, is maybe you should listen. I know I wish I would have, because my momma was right.

I think my mom did a good job raising me and my sister, and now she's a grandma and loving it. But don't call her grandma, she wigs, call her MeMe.

Yes, in jr. high my mom and I took Tae Kwon Do together. In non-contact sparing she would really hit you....it was painful and unexpected...because yeah non contact!

This was my birthday a few years ago. Mom hates getting her picture taken, so I'm surprised I found any at all.
