Scrawny Girl

This will be my last post here at Once More With Feeling. You can now find me at scrawnygirl.com
Scrawny Girl will now be my main blog.
I am going back to using my first blog name and unifying all my accounts as I prepare to open my online store. This was a hard decision, but one that me and my husband decided makes sense for the direction I want to take my art/business.
Thank you for your patience and support and I hope you will continue to follow along as I continue blogging and creating.

That's What She Said Sunday

Source: piccsy.com via Mrs. on Pinterest

I have to keep reminding myself of this as it gets closer and closer to Amelia's arrival. There are so many things to worry about, but I keep telling myself things will work out and it is what it is....

That's What She Said Sunday

Yesterday was baby shower #1. There was a great turn out, yummy cake, and Amelia got lots of cute (and useful) things. About time to get ready for work. Happy Sunday!

Snapshots

Hello Monday. I'm at work on my lunch thinking, its been a while blog. So, I thought I'd share a few snapshots from the past few weeks.

Farmer's market buys.

Fall decor at Market Street.

Duo helping me with chores.

Funny things I find on Pinterest to tease my husband with.

A super secret project that I'm working on.

Yesterday I spent the day knitting and watching Once Upon a Time on Netflix. My husband is sad I started watching it without him, who would've thought lol.

Dressing My Baby Bump

Me and Amelia have been rocking some preggo style this week. She seems to get bigger each day, and dressing her is a challenge. Warning: iphone pics ahead, someday I'll get a real camera.

Leggings: Preggers, Sweater: Roxy, Scarf: gift, Socks: Pink VS, Boots: Target
Belly Couture is my BFF, I find the cutest and most affordable things there. This tunic is one of them (so I bought it in 2 colors). I also think I can continue wearing it after Amelia arrives.

Scarf: Hot Topic, Cardigan: thrifted, Dress: Culture Clothing, Tights: DKNY,  Flats: Lucky
If I could, I'd probably wear this dress everyday. This was my 'game day' outfit for work.

Hat: Vans, Blazer: thrifted, Baseball Tee: Pacsun, Maternity Jeans: Belly Couture, Boots: Docs thrifted
It was definitely a hat day, and it was nice to dress more laid back than usual for work.
PS maternity jeans are super comfty, so don't lie to yourself when its time.

Denim shirt: Pacsun, Tunic: Belly Couture, Leggings: StyleMint, Flats: Pacsun
These StyleMint leggings are super comfy and very fun!

Dress: Belly Couture (from my MIL)

This is my fancy, comfy preggo dress. We were leaving the grocery store last night and I made Clint take my picture with the pumpkins haha. I love pumpkins! He said it looked like I was trying to steal one!

Cribs: Amelia's Nursery (so far)

My husband has been hard at work on Amelia's nursery. I just feel like the design consultant.
(bedding from Zutano, purchased at Cup of Tea Baby)

My poor husband went and picked up the heavy wooden crib his mom and I picked out, which he then dropped on his foot, ripped his TOMS, and broke a toe. But the crib was fine....
(The crib is Young America.)

My friend T and my MIL helped pick out some fabric, and my MIL made these amazing curtains. The picture doesn't do them justice, they are super cute!

Even though making the wall art for the nursery is on my to do list, I couldn't pass up this cute canvas that was half off at Hobby Lobby. It matches perfectly!

Duo loves Amelia's room, I am sure he will spend lots of time with her playing and playing. While Loki hides...

I finally got around to framing the sonogram pictures. We haven't put shelves up yet, so they're just hanging out in her crib.

I'll share more as the work progresses!

Hatch

I saw this cute maternity line from Hatch on A Cup of Joe. I wish I could afford even one item, because they look like the comfiest clothes ever! If someone came up with a line that was affordable, I'd be all over it! But their site is great for some baby bump coverage inspiration :)
