Meet Me on Monday

I saw this on Lariats and Lavender, but the originator is Never Growing Old. I am procrastinating cleaning up my little studio space....

1. What is was the last piece of candy that you ate?

Trolli Strawberries and some gummi drops in champagne and strawberry flavor. I work at the mall and there is a Candy Wrapper there with all sorts of goodies that you buy by the pound.

2. Do you "read" in the bathroom?

I usually just take my iphone and check emails....weird but time efficient. LOL

3. I can't stand when someone doesn't use their blinker. I think the vehicles sold in this region are sold without blinkers, or its a criteria not to teach you anything about blinkers in driver's ed....sigh...end rant...

4. Do you do daily, weekly or monthly grocery shopping?

We try to go once every 2 weeks on payday. If I'm having a good day, I'll plan out all the meals I'd like to make in advance and make a list. Since watching Extreme Couponing at my sisters house, I want to use coupons, but I don't buy normal things. I buy tofu, wheat germ, and tons of other organic and raw stuff. Then I always forget the stinking coupons. Seriously, who has 3o+ extra hours a week to spend on clipping coupons and being crazy? I'd rather spend my time cuddling with puppies, sketching, watching anime, reading a good book, and actually eating that food instead of thinking of ways to hoard it....

I was super rant-y today. I've had a great day off so far! My husband took me to the mall to get some running shoes. Note to anyone buying running shoes: I bought the pair of Nike's that I'd been wanting at Lady Foot Locker, but they didn't have some other things I was looking for (my husband made me throw out all my sports bras from high school and said he'd buy me new ones!), so I went to see if they had anything at FinishLine and found the same shoes almost 1/2 off! Needless to say, I took the others back and bought the cheaper pair. Now I've just gotta figure out this Nike Running chip thing that goes in my shoe. Does anyone know if it works with and iphone 3G? (It says 3Gs)
