19/30: A Habit You Wish You Didn't Have

Shopping/Spending money! I am terrible at saving. If I have money it's burning a hole in my pocket. I blame Seventeen magazine and MTV for this lol. But as I am getting older, I am starting to get my priorities straight, and get better at saving and paying bills. But I still have those days where I compulsively shop. My momma tells me I have a problem. Talking about this makes me want to watch Confessions of a Shopaholic.

17/30: A Photo That Makes You Want To Cry

***Spoiler Alert for Stargate Atlantis***

You are probably going to laugh, but I couldn't find a pic that made me want to cry. Instead I found a video. Me and my husband are super nerds and are big fans of Stargate SG1 and Atlantis. In Atlantis, Carson (the dr.) dies. This video is after his death when he is saying goodbye. Clint and I both cried so much, I cried just watching this clip...

16/30: A Photo That Makes You Smile

My niece Avery makes me smile all the time. She is always so happy and silly...oh and SUPER CUTE! I love her and miss her! She just got 2 bottom teeth, you can see them in the 1st pic.

14/30: Something You Like About Yourself

I like that I am not afraid to take risks and try new things. I am not worried about what people are going to think about me because I'm wearing something 'weird' or dying my hair some funky color. I like to live in the now and go with the flow. I am having fun and enjoying life. You should too.

13/30: Favourite Movies

1. Sydney White. Amanda Bynes is my girl crush, and she always makes me laugh. This movie has some funny lines about the geekiest things which I love! Plus its a modern take on Snow White.

2. Pride and Prejudice. Clint hates this movie, and I am pretty sure it was him who ruined my DVD. When he's in trouble I make him watch this movie lol. I think this movie is visually beautiful and this may be the only movie I like Keira Knightly in. Plus who doesn't love Jane Austen?
3. Howl's Moving Castle. I watch this movie almost every night when I go to sleep. We own almost all Hayao Miyazaki's films. I love that Christian Bale does the voice of Howl. I am also a big fan of Kiki's Delivery Service, and My Neighbor Totoro. PS this movie is based on a book, the movie is not the same of course, but it is an interesting read.
4. Amelie. This was one of the first movies Clint and I watched together when we first started dating. It is also the soundtrack for our wedding. This is a fav for the both of us and we always enjoy watching it together.
5. Breakfast at Tiffany's. This is my go to movie when I'm down and out. I love Audrey Hepburn. I like the randomness of her character, her wardrobe.....lol everything.

I really really really really want a Tamagotchi. Don't ask me why? It's cute, I want it. I did have a digipet when I was younger, but it was nothing like a Tamagotchi. I asked for one for christmas, but I may have to splurge the $15 and get me one. They even have a game for DS. Can you have more than one Tamagotchi?

4/30: About Your Family

My family has always been pretty small. Me, my momma, and my little sister. Then Ash had Avery, and I got married and our tiny family got bigger. So now we have Clint's huge family as part of our family! The Miller's are awesome, and I love them all. I am sure they will never know how much I appreciate them all. :) There are also a few close friends that are family. Cap'n T of course and Pearl are part of our now BIG family. It is going to be an interesting year with the holidays and the meshing of families, but I am sure we can make it work out somehow.

3/30: Your Friends

I have friends that come and go, and then I have friends who stick around...you know the real ones. So thank you friends for sticking around, and staying in touch, because you know I'm bad at it.

1. Ash: my lil sis. Has been my friend since she was born, and pretty much didn't get a choice lol.

2. Teresa has been around since the jr. high days, and is always there when you need her and a cup of coffee :)

3. Dez is my pal from back in the day. From swimming parties in 5th grade to rock bands in college.

4. Brooke is my hip craftster friend who always knows way more than I do about things I want to know more about. Like music, she always gives me the best cds.

5. Chelsea who is super smart and easy to talk to, and understands stuff about my professional life. Who helps me when I need to do smart stuff like write resume's and educational philosophies.

6. Calleycakes who is young and naive, but understands my language. Who likes to make fun of people who are mean to me, and likes to take on my hand me downs. She is also the best puppy sitter.

7. Deb who is my cool facebook friend :) and always has good advice on everything!

I'm sure there are more friends out there I didn't mention, like my husband, but that's a given.

1/30: 5 Interesting Facts

So I am attempting to play catch up to Brooke's 30 Days Blog Challenge. I may just have to start on the right day lol...but here is day 1.

1. I change my hair a lot. You really can't even get a good representation of it from these few pics, but I change the color and style constantly. I get bored...I feel the need for a change now...any suggestions?

2. I get mistaken/compared to celebrities all the time. The most frequent ones are Mary-Kate Olsen, Many Moore, LeAnn Rimes, and Kirsten Dunst.

3. My favourite band of all time is Silverchair. I went through a phase where it was all I would listen to, and was obsessed with Daniel Johns the lead singer (he's on the left).
4. I am left handed and I write up side down. People freak when they see this....
5. Through marriage, I am now related to Billy the Kid (or so says my husband).
