Dressing My Baby Bump

Me and Amelia have been rocking some preggo style this week. She seems to get bigger each day, and dressing her is a challenge. Warning: iphone pics ahead, someday I'll get a real camera.

Belly Couture is my BFF, I find the cutest and most affordable things there. This tunic is one of them (so I bought it in 2 colors). I also think I can continue wearing it after Amelia arrives.

If I could, I'd probably wear this dress everyday. This was my 'game day' outfit for work.

It was definitely a hat day, and it was nice to dress more laid back than usual for work. 

PS maternity jeans are super comfty, so don't lie to yourself when its time.

This is my fancy, comfy preggo dress. We were leaving the grocery store last night and I made Clint take my picture with the pumpkins haha. I love pumpkins! He said it looked like I was trying to steal one!

Shop My Closet

One of my friends once told me my closet is like Narnia. And I will admit that I have a slight shopping problem...Anyhoo, I'm in nesting mode and trying to clean out some closets around here. Tonight I listed 10 items (even a couple of my vintage pieces) on Instagram (@shopcupquakescloset). I hope to add more soon.....

PS all funds are going towards Baby Miller's college fund :) Apparently you have to start early with these sorts of things.

Baby Bump Recap

Now that I am over the half way hump, I decided to take a look back to see how this baby bump has been growing. This little girl is very active! I told Clint that she's practicing her dance moves so she can give him a few pointers. 

I'm really enjoying the black and white photos. One day I think I'll make a little instagram book of all my bump pictures. Most of the pictures are taken by my husband in the nursery we are working on, a few taken by friends. :)

Around the Miller Mansion

Today I've been doing some spring cleaning and redecorating. I've really enjoyed getting some stuff done today, but I still have lots to do before we have guests! 

So enjoy a peek around The Miller Mansion (ps it's not really a mansion, but a lil house built in the '80s, located in suburban hell)

Guest bathroom has been Hello Kitty-i-fied! It's a dream come true!

I still have some sparkles to add and a new toilet seat!

The Queen is helping my strawberry plant grow...I seriously need to repot her...

I dusted the old organ today....

I watered Earl and she looks lovely...(all my plants seem to be girls this year...)

This was stacked high and crazy with different teas and what not. My husband was impressed when he came home from work! I recycled my herb garden box from last year. I may or may not paint it soon...but yay organized!

That Lame Girl

Yes I am that lame girl that uses her phone for all pictures....but I'm thinking of investing in a real camera and taking this rad photog class by Kara. So maybe, pretty soon I'll get over being that lame girl...maybe....

I got this covergirl lip stain in berry...something and it's kinda rad and lasts half of the day. It's kinda like coloring with a marker on your lips...which is fun!

Doesn't this cupcake look evil? It's white chocolate and raspberry. It looks like it could kill you, or is a zombie cupcake or something....

It Should be my Birthday, Everyday

Yesterday was my 29th birthday, and I tried to chronicle it in instagram pictures. Take a look....

Mimosa's for breakfast, along with some Reese's PB cups....yeah like a rockstar.

When I got home from my trip, Clint took me to Savers and I found these rad cowboy boots!

I decided I wanted to wear my Hello Kitty nekomimi all day, so I did. (They matched my boots) Also, I got loads of compliments about them...strangely.

I let my 5 year old self dress me. I think it was kinda a Courtney Love meets Josie and the Pussycats look. PS my room is messy don't look...

While Clint was at work T & E kept me company. We went to a few stores downtown I rarely get to go to.

We met up with Clint on his lunch break and ate at Rosa's.

We went to Black Dog, the local anime store and I got 2 new Hello Kitty cell phone charms and Rosario + Vampire seasons 1 & 2, and a Sailor Moon coffee mug. I think I controlled myself well surrounded by all that cuteness!

Next up we had some yummy FroYo. The lady at the counter was pretty funny, and asked me how old I was like I was a little kid. She was shocked to learn my age. Maybe it was the cat ears?

John and Kensey came to hang out for dinner at East Moon, my new favorite haunt for sushi.

Teresa and Eric made these strawberry cupcakes from scratch, while we all watched Adventure Time!

I have tired eyes here haha, but yay cupcakes!

I got loads of cool presents and had a great day hanging out and ringing in the New Year with my friends.
