1.  Over this labor day weekend I will be      busy working on invitation designs, nesting, and hanging out with friends  .

2.  With the political debates going on right now, my thoughts are   nothing. I don't watch TV, so I have no idea what is going on. My husband says I should pay more attention     .

3.  Today    I am glad my work day is over and I can put on my yoga pants  .

4. The best thing I've cooked recently was    these yummy chicken nuggets and the best chocolate chip cookies ever .

5. The last thing I bought was  a pumpkin cupcake candle and some lotion .

6. The best movie I saw this summer was   The Secret World of Arrietty.  .

7.  The best book I read this summer was   right now I am reading books on how to write a children's book and survive pregnancy lol   .

1.  I am proud of   the steps I've taken and the ones I will take to continue on this adventure   .

2.   This weekend I will   be working at my day job, more planning and organizing on my dream job, baking cookies, going to a work back to school party, and nesting away    .

3.  A secret dream I have is    to  finish writing my children's book and get published, and turn it into a fantastic series  .

4. I can't handle    rude people and bad drivers .

5. The most annoying thing in the entire world is    people who come into places and talk super loud on their cell phones. Sorry but it's rude .

6. The most relaxing thing in the entire world is    taking a bubble bath, while drinking a glass of wine, and listening to music .

7.  I think everyone should    live their lives and let others do the same. I'm tired of seeing others judging each other for their life choices and spreading hate. People should be concerned more with their own lives and the imprint they are leaving. Make a difference and grow as a person, instead of tormenting others. (end rant)    .

1.  On a scale from 1-10 the frequency with which I get sick is,   a 3, unless you count being pregnant and feeling nauseous 24-7    .

2.   The last time I felt sick was   today. I was going great until I walked into the gocery store....I prevailed and no one was puked on, and I got my watermelon...muhahaha    .

3.  The worst part about being sick is     the lack of energy you have       because     stuff still needs to get done and I don't get sick time at this job, soooo....I'm a good dwarf and whistle while I work and hope that keeps the vomiting at bay  .

4. When I am sick I like to be taken care of by   being able to stay in my pj's and sleep snuggled up with my puppies .

5. Something I do to keep myself healthy is     wash my hands, take my vitamins, and eat lots of healthy stuff and the occasional tater tots... .

6. A secret remedy that I use when I'm sick is to    drink lots of liquids and emergen-C  .

7.  One thing that always makes me feel better when I'm sick is    mashed potatoes that my husband makes me  .

1.  Today is a good day because   I got my brakes fixed and oil changed (thanks to T making me), and I got Clint a new phone since his was so old even the pixels were dying   .

2.   The best thing I did all week was   eat yummy fondue    .

3.  The current weather is     windy, probably       and it makes me feel     glad I am inside   .

4. The best thing about spring is     all the cute clothes! Hello sunnies, hats, and sandals .

5. A fashion trend that I'm dying to try out for spring is  braids, especially fishtail braids. I plan to watch some YouTube tutorials soon .

6. A person who made me smile this week was   my friend Heather b/c she's always funny and I'm sad she missed out on the festivities this week...but we'll have more fun soon!   .

7.  The most delicious thing I ate all week was   everything at Funky Door! We went there for T's bachelorette party and had a blast! They have fondue, and this yummy squash lasagna .

1.  My favorite color is     tiffany's blue   .

2.   My home decor color palette includes   always changing. We are doing lots of painting right now. In the kitchen I have that retro blue color and red. In the living room it's chartreuse green and espresso...still working on it    .

3.  Other people always tell me I look good in the color     blue...probably b/c I'm blonde and have blue eyes. But I got lots of compliments on my blue hair too  .

4. The color I detest is    is maybe orange? It just doesn't look cute on me.

5. If you were to look in my closet most of the colors you'd see would be   everything...i have lots of most colors, but I did notice a lack of green when I was trying to dress for St. Patty's day. .

6. A color that I simply cannot pull off no matter how hard I try is   most yellows and super pale colors, b/c I'm super pale and my hair doesn't do well with yellows   .

7.  The color of my favorite dress is   black with bunnies or that pink vintage frock my hubby bought me in Austin...I can't decide   .

1.  The highlight of my week was   getting to hang out with my friend Heather, who was visiting from Colorado .

2.   If I had to classify my interior design aesthetic it would be    vintage diner meets Hello Kitty and That 70's Show (it's a hot mess)  .

3.  My first vehicle was   a granny race car (that = oldsmobile) .

4. An item I need to have in my day in order to function is   my healing crystals .

5. My favorite way to waste time is  by puttering around on tumblr, watching Korean Dramas, and reading manga .

6. Right now I could really go for   a taco and a Bloody Mary   .

7.  This weekend I will be   chillaxin, b/c I'm off and that's what cool kids do .

1.  I started my blog because   I wanted to share what I was up to with friends and family, and have somewhere to talk about stuff I make.

2.   One thing I love seeing on other blogs   is DIY, new music, and people just being themselves.

3.  Something I love about blogging   is meeting new people from all over, and being able to learn about all sorts of things.

4. A favorite blog post of mine is probably  my...I have no idea haha, I like doing my little weekly things like Taco Tuesday and That's What She Said Sunday.

5. Something my friends in real life know about me that I've never before mentioned on my blog is   ... I'm not really sure, I think I translate really well onto my blog. If anything, sometimes I am bit too straight forward and blunt in real life, with a little snark on the side.

6.  My new favorite blogs to read are   Sucre Diaries and Sock Monkey and Gee are really the only 2 new blogs I started reading recently  .

7.  Some things I tend to avoid doing on my blog are   being overly negative and not being myself.

1.   If money wasn't an issue, the first thing I'd cross of my life list is     visiting Japan, I really need to go to Harajuku   .

2.    Ketchup in my Mac n Cheese or French Fries and ice cream     is something I like that other people think is weird.

3.  If my life were a movie right now, the title would be       "Confessions of a Shopaholic"    .

4.  Three things I am looking forward to this month are     my new job    ,     getting to see my nieces (hopefully)   and     eating tacos  .

5.  My favorite song to sing in the shower is   whatever is stuck in my head or comes on my  shuffle...and sometimes the Jurassic Park theme song  .

6.  If I found out that the production of     Perrier    was ending this month, I'd go out and buy as much as I could tomorrow.

7.  One thing I'll never grow tired of is    my silly husband and wacky pups, we're kinda like the Scooby Gang  .

1.   One of my favorite things to do when I have free time is     watch something on netflix with my husband and puppies and have a beer   .

2.   When I have free time I tend to    be more lazy than motivated, and create big messes. I've been trying to focus and get things done on my to do list      .

3.  If I had an entire day completely to myself I would    go thrifting with a latte in my hand, and eat some sushi, and get a Hello Kitty 3D nail manicure     .

4.  I would prefer to spend my free time (alone or with others...)    mostly alone or with my husband. I am surrounded by people all day with my job and it makes me kinda grumpy sometimes    .

5.  Most of my free time happens    hardly ever..I am working on not being at work so much and taking my days off .

6.  The best thing about free time is    that you get to sleep in and you don't have to get out of your pj's if you don't want to  .

7.  The next time I have free time I should probably    continue to de-clutter my house   but instead, I'll probably     read manga and watch anime  .

Dolly Parton vs Maple Syrup

Today is Friday Saturday, and I totally missed out on Fill in the Blank Friday....

It's been a rough day, but yesterday was good so I'll fill you in:

1. The husband and I ate at Cracker Barrel and I had french toast. They give you these mini bottles of maple syrup, which I totally took home with me.

2. We got pretty much all of our Christmas shopping done!

3. We wrapped presents all night while watching Harry Potter and Edward Scissorhands.

4. Clint got me a Pillow Pal raccoon for Christmas that I named Twinkie. 

5. I finished all of Princess Jellyfish, and it was super funny and cute!

So I plan to forget Friday ever happened and keep on truckin with my week.

PS I keep hoping Cracker Barrel will have awesome Dolly Parton stuff, but they never do and I'm always disappointed (but the maple syrup is yummy!).

PSS My sister is at the hospital trying to have a baby right now. I have to work, so I can't be there. :(

Fill In the Blank Friday: Hello December

1.   The holiday season is     a time to savor all the little moments that make life happy  .

2.   Snow makes me   excited if I don't have to get out in it. Lubbock drivers freak out and its just insane. And PT Cruisers were not made for ice/snow      .

3.  The best comfort food to eat when it's cold out is    soup and french bread and later hot cocoa    .

4. Winter is the best time for    snuggling with pups and husbands, while watching things on netflix and knitting  .

5.  I can hardly wait to    do this DIY Christmas wrap from Create Loves! I got some Martha Stewart glitter paint, because my presents need some sparkle!   .

6.  When it comes to holiday gifts I prefer to     do DIY gifts b/c I like making everyone something cute that I made with love, instead of giving them something made in China that will be put in the summer garage sale .

7.  If I were to rate my excitement about the holiday season on a scale from 1-10, I would say I am at about a     4,possibly a 3. Sadly I've been super stressed with my promotion, and want to be at work less and less but have to be there more and more. It kinda puts a damper on my holiday spirit that I don't get to make gifts this year or spend much quality time with family. I did put on some Christmas music in my car, and I have lights on my trees (still no decorations), so I think that's a start.  .

1.   Waking up at the break of dawn to go shopping is my idea of     a nightmare. If I didn't work retail, I would be asleep. I don't understand the madness of it all. People, the deals aren't that good. Stay home and shop online!  .

2.   If I were to go shopping today I would be on the hunt for   a bunch of handmade gifts on Etsy.      .

3.  The best thing I ate yesterday was    corn dip    .

4. Something I've been learning lately is    that it's ok to go home. I've been working way too many hours, and sometimes things will get done, when they get done...   .

5.  I cannot start my day without     gallons of coffee  .

6.  My nighttime attire consists of    a tank top or t-shirt and thermal pj bottoms .

7.  I am looking forward to     a day off soon  .
