1. I wish I could land my dream job or win the lottery .

2. Yesterday I went to work for 3 hours, then to see my husband's band play .

3. Today I will do some Christmasy stuff.

4. Tomorrow I will work all day, come home and drink wine and see if Elf is on tv.

5. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll find a full time job and get the laundry done.

6. Someday I will actually shop/get all my presents made before Christmas rolls around .

7. I love my puppies, my husband, coffee, sugar, and Hello Kitty.

You're Losing a Saviour And A Saint

So the mall isn't a sink hole, but I wish it was.

Ian played techno, and we sang the doom song from Invader Zim at work today.

I painted my nails red.

I plan to eat some ramen after this, and probably some ice cream.

Duo is antsy, because I won't let him out of the office to eat the rabbit that has been relocated to the dining room.

I plan to start knitting a scarf tonight while I watch Warehouse 13.

I haven't started any Home Ec projects.

Yarn Slut...

I feel like knitting. I have a couple patterns I want to figure out...I supplied some knitting music and merch! lol. Check out Cafe Press they have fun knitting wares.

Knitting Does Not = Homework

So as always I have soooo many things I should be doing that I am not. Since we got home from the movies, I have been knitting and watching the disks I got in the mail of La Femme Nikita.

I really should be working on my homework, making some plans, or at least cleaning my house.

Sea Life Scarfs

I know this isn't the best picture ever, but I was excited that I finally finished it 100%! I haven't come up with the actual name of this scarf yet, but they look like something you would find underwater... I just finished knitting a pretty purple one, I just need to add on the finishing touches. These are going to be christmas gifts, but maybe after the holidays I will finally get my etsy up and running and put some in there.

Taco Tuesday: Back on Schedule Edition

I am trying to get back on track with my blogging schedule! So hello Tuesday, Taco Tuesday! This week is going to be pretty hectic for me with working everyday and trying to slip life in between. I just got back from visiting friends and family in SA-ville, it was fun but also very tiring!

I am planning my sisters baby shower which is in 2 weeks so wish me luck!

Now for some cute:

1. I am in love love with this lady's work! Liz Adams has the cutest illustrations. Most of them remind me of me, so maybe that's why I love them! This is my life this week! Knitting!

2. Teen Vogue is rocking my world! I saw this on someone else's blog and the pictures are amazing. I feel like I live in a constant state of grunge, so it's nice to see that I am not that out of style with the rest of the world lol.

3. Michelle Willliams is sooo lovely! I'm (hopefully) getting my hair done at the end of the week, and I love her hair....but do I want to go short again? What do you think?

4. Taylor Momsen has awesome style, and I love her hair too! I've actually had my hair like this before and my BF and mom hated it...lol

5. Aren't these panda shoes adorable? I wish I could afford some, but maybe I can make my own?! They look comfy! You can find them here.

6. Anyone who knows me, knows I am a huge Nirvana fan! I want to buy this soooo bad, so please don't buy it before I can! lol Find Kurt here.

7. The Olsen twins have such amazing style, and well I love a good cardigan! I really want those glasses, I am in desperate need of new ones....sigh...pic from Olsens Anonymous.

8. I love love Sally Jane Vintage! I wish I could just shop shop shop all day from her etsy! I am going to get all my teacher clothes from there! lol

9. Isn't this nursery cute! I hope to do something equally amazing when I have a baby, someday. I am pretty sure I saw this on this blog....

10. So sometimes Twilight makes me mad, and yes I read the books, own the movie, and will go see the new one....but still I don't want to like it lol...but this girl here is cute and I think she rocks! I found a tutorial on how to make these Alice wrist warmers and I really want to figure this out! Wish me luck because I stink at reading patterns lol...

Well today has been a pretty lazy day. I've been working on etsy stuffs. I made a simple banner, and this little tag to go with it. This picture was a google find, so I don't know who to give credit to, but i just like all the people in the street, and the girls big shades and stripey shirt. I hope to put more things in my store soon, more about that below.

This is the first item up for sale in my etsy store. I actually painted it a few years ago. It's a ceramic dinner plate that you can actually use or just hang on the wall. I used to work for a pottery studio, and I really enjoyed it. I hope to put more painted pottery up soon.

This little number here I had sketched onto the canvas a while back and just started painting it. It's not complete yet and the photo sucks, taken with my iphone. I really would like to go on a vacation, and this painting stems from that and some Weepies lyrics. The song is called slow pony home and the lyrics are "i held so many people in my suitcase heart." I've been experimenting with faces, eyes, and lips recently. I plan to keep trying different techniques too. Right now I am in love with violet eyes, and for some reason I want violet contacts lol...I'll take some better pics when I'm done and it's not so rainy and dark.

I have another idea in mind that I hope to get on a canvas tonight and it has to do with clouds. There have been lots of cloud shapes in what I've been doing recently...lol. I've also got to work on some designs for the coffee mug and platter I have stashed away in my closet so I can get them painted. If this cloud idea pans out, I may do it on the mug.

I'm also knitting a scarf, trying to get back into the swing of things. Next I plan to try to knit something new! I may also put some knitted products in my etsy store.

Fanny Pack Attack!

For some reason I love fanny packs! I have a harajuku lovers one with cute kitties on it! But fannies are just too small for the arsenal I need to carry around to survive the day! I stumbled across this awesome fanny on etsy today!
