Fill In The Blank Friday

1. The most selfless thing I've ever done was... so far, I think it was switching high schools, so my mom didn't have to drive me over an hour to school and my sister didn't have to go to high school without me. I gave up my friends and being varsity head cheerleader, but I think it was better for everyone .

2. When it comes to working out I work out like once a month if that. I really haven't worked out since I graduated high school, which was over 10 years ago...it's on my list of things to get better at...or I mean actually do .

3. A woman should always wear lipstick(or a pretty lipgloss) .

4. I wish I could hire a maid .

5. A best friend is someone who knows when you need a cupcake or two .

6. I can't get enough of the Korean dramedy 'Lie to Me'. I only have one more episode left! .

7. This weekend I am working hard for the money and missing a Taylor Swift concert. Yeah, a little part of me just died inside almost like that time I missed that Paramore concert. I am still recovering from that by buying every Paramore shirt on the planet. .

Taco Tuesday: Artist Spotlight Charlavail

I've been following this creative gal for a while now. She reminds me a lot of myself, and is a huge inspiration. It's nice seeing young artists following their dreams and trying to make a difference.

She recently made some skeleton iron on's to raise profits for the National MS Society, because her friend was diagnosed with the disease. Please check out her tumblr and website.

She also designed a few shirts for Paramore, which I just ordered....I couldn't help myself....

She is such a talented young lady! I can't wait to see what the future holds for her!

1.   My current obsession is      Sailor Moon manga and how to get my hands on it and Paramore t-shirts...oh and finding my halloween costume  .

5.  My life is    exhausting. I have lots of stuff going on right now and not enough time in the day. I could use a timeturner .

Things I Find At Hot Topic

 One day I was on my way to Aerie and I happened to look over at just the right time to catch a glimpse of this Sailor Moon t-shirt on display at Hot Topic. If you don't know I love Sailor Moon and have always loved Sailor Moon. They just started re-releasing everything here in the States after a big licensing issue.

 I normally don't shop at Hot Topic but every once in a while I will stop in to get a gift for someone, like t-shirts or vinyl (yeah they have records.) I've been in a few times recently and  have found several things I can't live without, and they have several Paramore t-shirts (which is my secret addiction, so don't tell). I also bought a really cute dress and tons of other things....so I guess you could say Hot Topic is growing on me and it has nothing to do with the plethora of Hello Kitty stuff...nothing at all....

Here are a few things I purchased along with my Sailor Moon tee (which I promptly put a hole in trying to remove the tag)....

 I have a cardigan addiction, seriously I have enough cardigans for all the puppies in the world (that's why I need so much closet space). I also have an addiction to skulls that I keep trying to get away from...thanks punk rock....

 Obviously I am addicted to Paramore, and this sweatshirt it amazingly cute and comfy. I've gotten so many compliments on it already. 

Here a few things I want from HT:

 Yes another cardigan. It has hearts and pink....yeah you can stop judging me.

Another cute Paramore tee. The last one I bought similar to this one has brought me lots of unwanted attention, and by that I mean people wanting to take my picture in it. So Paramore you owe me, I'll take that cute shirt with the ice cream cones on it...Thanks.

More Adventurous

It seems like time is flying by and soon September will be over. There is so much going on this time of year and it just picks up with all the holidays. Today I focused on making a tentative schedule to try to fit in some studio time and yoga. Clint and I took a journey to Hastings today and had a fun little date at Chipotle, where we sat on the patio. Since I've been home I've been working on this painting. It actually looked very different before...I've decided to take a break because I've been staring at this for 3 hours.

This little marshmallow-y goodness was at Hastings and it sang me a little song...

I actually took this picture last week at the Bluelight. I thought it turned out pretty cool.

This definition sums up my week.

This week has had its ups and downs. Most of the downs have been kinda internal, you know dealing with my perception of things and mostly people and their bullshit. I really don't care for the most part, the caring part is the 'I don't get it' part, and that makes me think why didn't I become a psychologist again? That was my main reason for starting out majoring in that field, was because I wanted to know why people behaved the way that they did....and I still do. I'm sure this post makes no sense, but maybe visuals will help you....

What A Shame...

Today:

has been rough.

I worked too much.

I downloaded the new Taylor Swift album.

I ate a lemon Larabar.

I drank a couple Hornsby's.

I felt the need to write in my journal.

A New To Do List:

1. Make my very own Sailor Moon t-shirt (since you can't buy one anymore).

2. Make screen and screen t's.

3. Bake pumpkin muffins (figure out what recipe is better).

4. Get FS stuff organized and planned out.

5. Finish scarf for meeting gift.

6. Take time out for scrapbooking.

7. Work on art stuffs.

8. Clean my house.

9. Do laundry.

10. Work on my children's book

11. Fill out Windshield Diaries interview.

12. Do Elle's studio scrapbook thing. lol..I make no sense.

13. Get birthday presents for Camree and Crosby.

Let's see what I get done this week....

Strangers Answering My Phone

I had dreams of being lost in a forest, and calling people on my cell phone but strangers answering. There were roller skates and fire trucks. None of it made sense but when I woke up this morning I told Clint that some old lady kept answering his phone when I called him.

I love this darling face. I found this on a random tumbler. This is her at SXSW! I saw her wearing this cute outfit! Whoever got close enough to take this photo you rock! PS I can't wait to get the new cd! I'll be checking my mail...;)

It's my day off today and I want to go to the movies. I want a pickle, buttered popcorn, and a cherry coke. The only time I drink coke is when I go to the movies, it's my ritual. Drinking coke otherwise would just cheapen it...lol

I really need to clean my house today b/c Clint's momma is coming over tomorrow and we're doing wedding stuffs. I love Hayley from Paramore, it's my dirty little secret. The guy at Hot Topic told me he wouldn't tell anyone. I go in there sometimes to buy Paramore t-shirts. I have a band shirt addiction. So does Clint. I think a little Paramore will get me motivated to clean.

If you don't know who this is, or have not bought this album...we can't be friends. (or I could burn you a copy to save our friendship :)

I liked this movie. I could watch it again. Truthfully I don't mind being alone sometimes. I think it's b/c I am around people all day long LOL. I hear I look like Kirsten Dunst, what do you think?

This is my short morning, but it's already noon post. Time for more tea!
