Cute Candy Attack!

Today I wore shorts with no tights, and no one made fun of me. Usually some crazy oompa-loompa like person makes fun of me for being white. And by oompa-loompa I mean like spray tan orange people. I had become super self conscious of how pale I am since moving here, and strangers making super mean comments, which is totally not me. So I gave myself a logical pep talk about how skin cancer/wrinkley free I am, etc., and mostly how I never care what people think so why start now! :)

I get mistaken for Kirsten Dunst a lot, and she's super pale, so I figure if she can do it so can I.

Today I hit up Sephora on my lunch break and all this cute Hello Kitty stuff caught my eye! I couldn't make myself buy any of it because it was kinda pricey, but cute.

Product review time: I love love Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail strips. I have black and white checkerboard on now. I want most of the ones pictures here, but none more than the leopard. These cute polishes are hard to find in town, but I'll check online later.

Sherri from Eisley blogged about dyeing hair. We're like hair dyeing twins separated at birth. I've never tried Special Effects (probably because they don't sell that brand around here), but until I can order it online I'll probably just get some manic panic. I'm hoping to talk my husband into helping me make my hair blonde, then pink. It should be an adventure since I usually go to the salon....wish me luck.

Taco Tuesday

Today I'm obsessed with pink. I can't wait to have pink hair (whenever I get around to getting it done). I'm also obsessed with Negima?! and chupacabras, and I want to make chupacabra research society t-shirts. I've been super busy this week with work stuffs. I need to dye my hair blue and figure out what to wear for work tomorrow and study some work stats.....so enjoy some pink inspiration....

Long Story Short

My friend Cap'n T gave me a surprise goodie pack yesterday with lots of halloween hello kitty stuffs, homemade cookies, and an itunes gift card. I wasted no time in using that gift card....

I have been wanting the new She & Him...Brooke and I saw them at SXSW in the freezing cold. I like the song done with Tilly and the Wall.

Fun Fact: The first year I went to SXSW, I did not go in to see Margot and the Nuclear So & So's again with Brooke and her bro b/c I was dead set on seeing Tilly and the Wall. I walked all over Austin to the venues they were said to be playing. I never found them/the never showed up...I should've just went to the Margot Show. So note to self, always follow Brooke, you'll have more fun that way!

My old roomie Daniel Markum just moved to Athens, GA where he met Jenny Lewis and Kirsten Dunst on the street. He later went to Jenny's show and Kirsten was there...this was all via twitter and I was so jealous. I asked him if Kirsten really looked like me, he said no, and I was grateful, but said she was nice. Long story shortened...Daniel is the guy to go to for awesome music. He recommended Jenny & Johnny, and here I am today with a copy...

Strangers Answering My Phone

I had dreams of being lost in a forest, and calling people on my cell phone but strangers answering. There were roller skates and fire trucks. None of it made sense but when I woke up this morning I told Clint that some old lady kept answering his phone when I called him.

It's my day off today and I want to go to the movies. I want a pickle, buttered popcorn, and a cherry coke. The only time I drink coke is when I go to the movies, it's my ritual. Drinking coke otherwise would just cheapen it...lol

I really need to clean my house today b/c Clint's momma is coming over tomorrow and we're doing wedding stuffs. I love Hayley from Paramore, it's my dirty little secret. The guy at Hot Topic told me he wouldn't tell anyone. I go in there sometimes to buy Paramore t-shirts. I have a band shirt addiction. So does Clint. I think a little Paramore will get me motivated to clean.

I liked this movie. I could watch it again. Truthfully I don't mind being alone sometimes. I think it's b/c I am around people all day long LOL. I hear I look like Kirsten Dunst, what do you think?

I'm still in my pj's and I've been working on homework all morning! But I have to be at work later, which means I have to get dressed....I'm ready for spring b/c it's warmer but I still get to layer.
