Baby Bump Recap

Now that I am over the half way hump, I decided to take a look back to see how this baby bump has been growing. This little girl is very active! I told Clint that she's practicing her dance moves so she can give him a few pointers. 

I'm really enjoying the black and white photos. One day I think I'll make a little instagram book of all my bump pictures. Most of the pictures are taken by my husband in the nursery we are working on, a few taken by friends. :)

Morning Things and a Baby Update

This morning I am sitting at my kitchen table enjoying some tea, reading blogs, thinking of baby names, and trying to brush the tangles out of this rats nest I call hair.

Since becoming pregnant my hair has grown so fast! My hair is way past my shoulders and almost to the middle of my back. I can't decide if I want to cut it or not. Maybe a trim is in order...

Yesterday I had a doctors appointment and things seem to be going well. The baby is still rocking and rolling in there. I felt it kick for the first time. It kinda felt like a butterfly trying to escape my tummy. I did loose a few pounds instead of gaining any weight, and my nausea is starting to slow down, so I'm focusing on eating healthy and as much as I can. My husband's orders are to eat more hamburgers. Haha.

What's The What....

Time to get caught up with what's been going on for the past couple of weeks...

My husband rolled back into town a few weeks ago just in time to play at the Buddy Holly Summer Showcase. Apparently I was "Spotted" and ended up in the local paper:

Thankfully it's been a bit cooler here with some rain, which I appreciate since I have no A/C in my car right now....

Duo was in desperate need of a hair cut. They call this the teddy bear face...how cute is that?!

I have a new boss and we made a bet and I won, so today I had my first cupcake since becoming pregnant and so far so good...unless you count most of it ending up on my dress....

Dolly Dreams and Baby Things

This weekend my mom came for a visit since I am all alone while Clint is on tour. She went to a garage sale in my neighborhood and found this rad Dolly Parton drawing! 

We also bought lots of cute baby things.....

I hope my baby loves this Blabla doll as much as I do!

We found these red cowboy boots at Old Navy. My little rockstar needs boots! haha

Mom also helped me clean out some closets and get things moved around. I was super excited to be able to hang thing in the baby's closet. I can't wait to do more work on the nursery. 

Would it be weird if I named my baby Dolly???

If you've been wondering where I've been, well it's time to let you in on the secret.....me and Mr. Miller are expecting our first baby sometime around Christmas! We couldn't be more excited! So be prepared for some cute baby posts and thanks for following us on this incredible journey! Just to let you know I've have nurseries on the brain! 

Also, my friend T got married last weekend and that took up most of my week last week with the planning, and the baking, and having guests, and doing fun stuff. She's in Europe now, having fun without me...I wish some macaroon's would survive the trip back.....

The husband is home and off work today.

I wish I could stay home and work on some projects that need to get done.

It looks fall-y outside today, hopefully not humid like yesterday.

I had a caramel apple for breakfast.

I stayed up late watching Warehouse 13 and working on some embroidery.

I made my lunch to take with me to work! It's my new goal....
