What's The What Wednesday

This week has been going great besides a few minor health issues. I'm loving my new job, and enjoying the free time I now have! Hopefully pretty soon, I will get some projects done around here...fingers crossed!

Miles to go, but its an exciting ride

Today I got a call for an interview for a middle school art teacher position. This is my very first teaching interview and I'm equal parts excited and nervous. I figure you have to start somewhere, right? I've read a ton about how to have an awesome interview, but I'm sure I'll forget all the things I read. I figure if I go in and be myself that's the best I can do. I understand I still have a long way to go, but this interview has made my day.

I am super excited about teaching art! I am crossing my fingers and kissing my elbow that I rock it tomorrow and I get this job. If so, I am going to make this poster to go in my room...

I came home and worked hard on getting together my portfolio. Here are a few of my older pieces that I no longer own :( I have a bad habit of just giving my art away.

Do You Know Who Gandalf Is?

I am about to start studying hard core in order to finish my course by the deadline, then study some more for my certification tests....so I am motivating myself with a lil nerdiness...here are some of my fav nerds...

My fav Nerdy movie! (there are seven nerds)....you should watch it, it's soo funny and I never get tired of it. My fav quote is the one where Amanda's character is motivating her nerds and asking them if they are going to let "a girl who probably doesn't even know who Gandalf is" win...haha and the whole Gurkin of Honor game, which I think should be real b/c I'd like to play halo as a viva pinata character so when i got shot candy would fly everywhere instead of blood! ps just watch it!
