Hello Monday

It's Monday again. I'm enjoying my second cup of coffee...hmmm. Yesterday I cleaned and cleaned and now my house is even messier?! Not sure how I always manage to do that? LOL. I have become addicted to watching the BBC tv series Merlin on Netflix. It is terrible in a I can't stop watching this show way lol...I heart BBC. I did manage to clean out my closet and give a bunch of clothes to calleycakes. That girl never goes shopping anywhere but my closet lol. I am still on my ramen/ Nutella diet...its sad and I can't wait for fajitas on Sat. We're having a BBQ when Cap'n T gets here! Anyhoo, Happy Monday ! I am off to study before I hit the shower and get ready for work. Ciao!

Only In Dreams

I had the strangest dream that I was in medieval times visiting a castle. I was with the princess in her room when the castle was under attack. She pulled a pair of pearl earrings that were attached to wire out of her wall paper and disappeared. Next thing I know I am in the present at a trailer park that has a Hard Rock Cafe. I had found the princess, but she was old. Apparently she had recorded her escape and journey on tape and I had come to get it to share her story with the world. She was a bit crazy and had some wicked tattoos and a man servant. I kept asking her where the pearl earrings were, but she didn't know what I was talking about. So me and my mom went to Hard Rock Cafe.

When Harry Met Sally

I should be studying, but I figured I needed to blog first...priorities lol...

Today the puppies and I watched When Harry Met Sally for the 1st time. It was sooo good! I think I have this reflex that when Meg Ryan cries, no matter what movie it is, I cry too.

I really want a garden! We are trying to make time to do a small container garden. I hope I don't run out of time!

Today I went to my first teaching job fair, and I think it went well. Not exactly what I was expecting, but I made contacts. Now I just need to finish filling out the apps and pass my test....which I am going to study for now....

Bring It On: Job Fair!

About to head to work! I worked hard on my resume last night, so I just have the final draft left and then printing. Not sure if I should just print it at home or go to FedEx Kinkos to get it printed all fancy? Next on my agenda: cover letter? do you need cover letters for job fairs? filling out the apps to the schools I want to work at online, figuring out what to wear, and making myself spiffy...oh and sleeping! So today I am cheering myself on! GO ME! I CAN GET IT DONE! :)

Today I bought a book to help me write the most badass resume in the universe! I've been trying to get this done all week, but I'm usually a last minute kinda gal....sadly. Everyone keep your fingers crossed that I get the one art position on the market in my area....here's hoping....

So I've been trying to formulate plan b (incase I don't get a teaching position for the fall): work in a day care or similar place to get more experience with kiddos or plan c: get preggers and sub lol...

Today I worked on my study scheduled, took a diagnostic exam, and fried my brain on writing a resume. I have a job fair on friday, so I really need to get it done! I could really use Hermione's help lol...

I think I haven't been drinking enough water and I definately need to work out...grrrarrrggg
