The 15 Minute Blog

I have been trying to give myself deadlines. I suck at time management lately....so I have 15 minutes to write this blog b/c I have to get in the shower and get ready for work, while trying to gulp down my coffee. PS I've been making my own coffee in my french press! go me! How do you take/make your coffee? Mine must have lots of sugar!

I am trying really hard to get all my school stuff done! I am down to the wire here, and I can't focus b/c of the stress of not getting things done. But I am trying new tactics :) and the little mantra of I can do it I can do it I can do it! How do you destress yourself?

I saw this on a tumbler and it totally made my day! I need to email it to myself so it can make me smile!
I also saw this on a tumbler, and I was like I totally have that dress! I think I am going to wear it today! lol so I need to dig it out of Narnia (which was Calley calls my closet). I got it at Target, it was part of one of their designer series. I wish the Zac Posen stuff at target would go on sale, but by that time it will probably be gone...PS I heart Target...Which line has been your fav designer series at Target? Mine was the Erin Fetherston line or the Jovovich Hawk line...lol I can't even pick one.

I want to go on a trip to anywhere lol. I'm off next weekend, but Clint is not. Maybe I will visit San Angelo? Maybe I will hole up in my room and do homework? Or paint my living room walls or finish the flower beds? or maybe runaway to Santa Fe lol or Carlsbad Caverns...we talk of going there a lot. :) Where would you run away to?

LOL my sentiments exactly! I heart MK! I struggle with this issue a lot since I work in retail and as a manager have to wear things from my store. I usually pair things from the store with some of my vintage stuff. My DM doesn't seem to mind.

I went through this phase where I felt like a hypocrite b/c I wanted to be all handmade/vintage, support only the handmade community and all that jazz and I'm working for a big chain retail store. But putting it into perspective, I have to have a job to pay bills and even though I have a degree I am having a hard time finding one. So I put a plan into motion to get me out of retail :)! I can't wait for the day when I never have to go to the mall again! lol I will enjoy going to thrift stores and shopping on etsy all the time! Not that I don't do that already.

I don’t love studying. I hate studying. I like learning. Learning is beautiful.

I have made tea and coffee...I need to hit up that coffee! I've been really good about getting up and making me and the mister lunches to take to work! I did my Wii Fit yesterday! and today I am sore lol. I am about to do it again! Then drink coffee. I had my first day back to work yesterday and it was a bummer. I am already tired of it, and I do not want to talk to people...booo.

I had the weirdest dreams that made no sense. Like clint racing girls in high heels and being in a place where instead of stairs there were scary rope bridges and fire house poles that you had to slide down...I finally just got out of bed...lol...weird

I need a real vacation, where I take a trip. Clint is still pushing for a cruise. I want Paris.

I want a backyard oasis like this! I am hunting for affordable but cute outdoor furniture!

Like more caffine! lol Those olsen twins...I think they are more addicted than I am....

Made in Oregon

Today I did some yard work. It is a hot and sweaty business. I thought I would feel like I accomplished something, but now I am wishing I just paid someone else to do it...well at least the cleaning up and stuff I did today...no fun! :( I'm ready to just plant pretty things already, and water them. I bought some fun gardening clogs at target to get me in the mood, they're lime green and awesome!

Today we also went and ate at Cracker Barrel. I love that place! They have strawberry shortcake as a desert, and it is to die for! We also ran by Bed Bath and Beyond and then did some grocery shopping. I think I prefer shopping online! lol.

My puppies are in need of grooming...they stink and I'm sure they are hot hot hot....

I couldn't resist this bag...I saw it on my new fav blog Camp Comfort. I clicked on the link and got it on sale from the Made in Oregon website...awesome! I like the southwestern feel. I am big into southwesterny looking things right now. I have strange tastes b/c sometimes I like crazy religious things...I guess I am just too random. lol

Today is Cinco de Mayo, we got invited to a party. We're just homebodies lol. I hope to get a grill and some outdoor furniture someday so we can have parties at our house! A girl can dream...sigh...Something else I realized I could use today is an address book. I know my mom bought me one and I can't find it. Maybe I can make one?

Taco Tuesday Fairy Tale Edition

So tonight I watched Julie&Julia finally. Clint watched it with me, we both liked it. Clint thinks I should take cooking classes, because I like to cook. I looked into Le Cordon Bleu, where Julia went, but it is super expensive.

I started reading "My Life in France" by Julia Childes, but I haven't finished it. Speaking of books, the new Charlene Harris book came out, but I have to wait until payday to get it. Like I have time to read right now anyways.

Yesterday I cooked a roast in my new slow cooker, it was alright. Clint's mom's is better.

I think I have fairy tales on the brain...I really want this movie....
