Here is what I've been up to this week in hipstamatic prints.


This is Vinny. He lives in my guest bathroom. Duo wants to eat him, Loki could care less. Vinny is kinda lonely so I play with him.


I eat a lot of red velvet cupcakes.


My momma always tells me if I say something enough and believe it, then it will be true. Work has been rough for me, so I wrote on my hand, "today is going to be a good day!"


I've been wearing ballet shoes recently.


I baked some strawberry cupcakes.


This is me at work today. I'm kinda bored.....it might be time for a lonely dance party. Lol. It's going to be a good day!

Keeping Up With Disguises

I woke up with a major headache. I am supposed to be getting ready for work, but I prefer wasting my time and showing up looking homeless. I just tell them that's my style, hobo...lol

Last night before bed I ate some yummy pizza. This pizza had artichoke hearts on it which is my fav secret ingredient! We also watched an episode of the new Dr. Who on netflix, I was not super impressed.

Off to do things I suppose, have an awesome Sunday Sunday Sunday!

Summer Essentials

Here's a peak at some of my go to staples...enjoy!

I love to wear hats of all kinds, but its hot in the summer so a straw fedora is perfect!

I love straw totes, they are very summery. I really want to embroider on mine, but I haven't had the time.

My go to skinny jeans, working @ Pacsun I have a million pairs. (Ps a lot of these pics/my wardrobe is from there).

This is the first year I've tried aviators, makes me look like an Olsen twin with my unbrushed hair lol I'm still not sure what I think...

Bandeau tops are my fav. I like to wear them under oversized tanks.

I love this shirt, I wore it yesterday. Makes your day brighter and is not too hot. Long live grunge lol...j/k

I am the blazer/cardigan queen. I am always layered. I don't have this one yet, but I have one similar.

I have many slip on vans, but this is my first lace up pair. They are pretty comfy once you break them in.

I like this denim skirt b/c you can wear it high with a belt or wear it low b/c of the elastic waist.

Cardigans, cardigans, cardigans. This one is fancy.

Boyfriend jeans are a must! I even cut some of mine into long shorts which we call jorts lol.

This fantastic makeup comes in two shades (of course I wear the lite), and has SPFS in it. It's great for summer!

More shoes! I've been wearing my saddle shoes, toms, and actual ballet flats. My feet prefer flat shoes, and I do stand all day so they thank me.

I tend to wear a lot of basic tanks, v-necks, and band shirts. And there you have it in a nut shell. Summer/ everyday style for me. What are some of your summer essentials? If you do a fun post about it link it up! Ciao!

Roaming Gangs of Pit Bulls

So my goal is to get up and run in the morning, outside, around the neighborhood. I'm sure its pretty safe, I see old people doing it all the time. I'm mostly afraid of roaming gangs of pit bulls, I hear they exsist....

Without Money We'd All Be Rich

Today is my day off...hooray! So far I have slept in til noon, made waffels and coffee, and tried to clean....T is being attacked by spiders in my guest bath lol...Clint is trying to save the day...the spider hunt is on!

I have been eating/wanting to eat lots of chocolate! I am addicted to heath bars and kitkats...

Fun fact: I used to play bass guitar (my husband plays bass guitar in the band Thrift Store Cowboys).

Fun Fact # 2: The first song I learned to play on bass was "Polly" by Nirvana, the second was "Israel's Son" by Silverchair.

This is what it feels like to update your iphone...it is taking forever...all I want is to be able to multi-task, is that too much to ask?

Being poor kinda sucks, but I'm getting better at it...lol :)

I finished season 2 of Merlin last night! Season 3 should come out in the fall! I hear True Blood season 3 is on, I guess I need to play catch up...I suck at actually watching tv in real time...lol

Sorry I've not been the best blogging pal, I've had lots going on and company to boot. I tried blogging from my phone one day, it took forever!

Since I've had company it got me to thinking I need to finally decorate my house. Starting with living room and kitchen areas....I've been entertaining lots... so here is some inspiration and colors i like from weheartit.com

I have this mixer. I've been thinking of painting my cabinets this color lol...

PS I have a table similar, but mine is not pastel, its just blue.

I really like this last pic! I have a wasabi powder green wall in my dining room, and my couches are a retro chartreuse. I have a hard time making decorating decisions for some reason lol...

Merlin's Beard

I am making coffee at the moment. I am so sleepy. Work and migraines have been getting in the way. I have a conference call this morning that I have to talk on for work that I am super unexcited about....hooray!

I am addicted to the BBC show Merlin. I watched all of season 1 on netflix, now I am watching season 2 on youtube...lol...

I need this little painting! I love love my saddle shoes and wear them all the time. They are actually made by Vans.

Today is payday and I couldn't be more excited! I can't wait to eat something that is not ramen or nutella! lol

I'd like to take a trip in one of these...or set one up and have a little shop in it. I'm hoping to reopen my etsy store soon...I have a new idea that I am developing, but I'm not telling....it's a secret.

My friend should be here today, life is about to get more interesting with a roommate. :)
