What's On Your Mind Wednesday...

Here is another What's On Your Mind Wed, courtesy of A Taste of T. Check out her post...and I thought I was random lol
Figuring out how to cook brown rice.
Trying not to drink all of my yummy smoothie.
Finding a job.
Veggie recipes.
Should I get out of my pj's today?
Resisting the urge to drink coffee...
To clean or not to clean...
Trying to get out of my lazy funk.
Reading more 'Quit Your Day Job' articles on Etsy.
Finish my embroidery projects...do it...
My dogs stink and so does the bunny.
Inertial dampeners on cars is a good idea.
I wish I had a bike with inertial dampeners.
I wish I had a bike.

Massive Taco Tuesday To Do List

Today I had so much I wanted to do, but didn't. I did finish another assignment and I am doing some laundry! So tiny accomplishment there! Clint is on his way home from Phoenix. The band cut the tour short b/c there was another fire at his parents house. No one was hurt or anything but they have smoke damage again, and are waiting on the verdict from the Fire Marshall.

I wish I had a record player...I would be outside doing this...
I need to check out the bike I found in my garage and then do some of this...
I've been drinking tea all day, but I wouldn't mind a cupcake...
When I was little in the town I'm from there used to be hot air balloon races and kite flying...I miss those days...
I want to make crowns for my puppies, but they would just eat them...but isn't it sweet?
Massive Taco Tuesday To Do List:

1. more homework.
2. study for certification test
3. more laundry
4. brand ambassadors project (for work, yes even work gives me homework)
5. figure out and sign up for benefits
6. put up laundry and clean up bedroom
7. print more invites and send out
8. work on bunting
9. fix vintage bag loki ate part of....sad but true
10. search etsy for suspenders and a newsboy hat for clint to wear to the wedding

I Want to Ride Bikes With You

Everyone should be impressed that I've actually started cleaning my house, not just talking about it. Im pretty impressed LOL. Tomorrow is my day off and I plan to do loads of laundry, hopefully figure out the shampooer to shampoo the carpets, set up the guest bedroom and bath for Teresa and her Hubby, clean kitchen table, wet bar and fireplace off....i'm sure this list keeps going...on top of that do homework...blah...I really want to paint the walls in the living room and studio room and hang up pretty pictures.

Something exciting! Today I bought the cutest Hello Kitty cell phone charm and figured out how to get it on my cell phone. I have an addiction to cell phone charms...muhahaha...

These are THE YELLOW PANTS!!!! that Brooke and I were talking about needing from the GAP, THE YELLOW CORD PANTS!!!
This outfit is delightful, I wish I could wear it tomorrow...
These are the rings I've decided Clint can buy me for wedding stuffs. I don't want anything fancy or big. He did say I needed a bigger diamond so everyone would know I was taken lol...he's cute. These rings are from Catbird.
Ps I really want this one with the heart...
I thought this dress was cute, I'm thinking of getting the vintage dress I bought cut the this length....any comments on that?
So for doppelganger week on Facebook, I put a pic of Kirsten Dunst. I've actually been mistaken for her several times, which I find weird. The weirdest was at the local Rosa's Tortilla Factory drive thru. I was like seriously? haha When my hair is darker I usually get Mandy Moore. And once at SXSW a few years ago this guy thought I was Scarlett Jo which is flattering. I told him, my boobs are not that big haha...

I want to ride bikes sooo bad. We actually have one in the garage that I think may belong to Miss Pearl. I want a retro bike though, and I want Clint to go with me b/c I get scared of big dogs, getting lost, and well traffic...in Texas pedestrians do NOT have the right away...

(some imagaes from a cup of jo and google searches)
I hear the weather is going to get cold and snowy here in the south plains, seriously I've never seen so much snow in this neck of the woods...at least I'm off and don't have to drive in it tomorrow. What do you like to do when the weather is yucky? I like some cocoa, book/movie, quilt, and some cuddly pups...

French Country Wedding

So I am sure everyone has heard the news, but Clint and I are getting married on May 1, 2010! Which gives US about 4 months to plan this shindig! We want it to be small with close friends and family. We are really laid back, so nothing fancy. I just wanted to share the plans we've made so far with some visuals...

My momma wants me to wear a fancy dress, but I'm leaning towards something vintage with my fav cowboy boots my friend Brooke gave me. These first 3 dresses are from Sarahseven on Etsy. I doubt I'll actually get one b/c of time constraints, but I think they are adorable.

This photo is from someone's real wedding I saw on the Green Wedding Shoes blog. They had a cute carnival theme!
Clint's parents have a tandem bike, and we hope to get our engagement pics done with it. Super cute!
We are having a backyard wedding at his parents ranch. I think this is a cute and inexpensive seating arrangement!

I love the idea of the vintage frames with pics in the tree. There is a perfect tree for this at his parents.
I plan to use the cute fabric banners from Sparkle Power's etsy store, I just need to figure out how many I need!
And of course we are going to have a cupcake tower instead of the traditional wedding cake, b/c I lovelove cupcakes!
(pics from Green Wedding Shoes blog unless another link is given)

There is so much to do! We have to idea for the invites involving tandem bikes, that we plan to screenprint ourselves at home in our bathroom like we always do! lol. As soon as we do them, which will be soon I'll post them up! Hopefully today I'll get dressed and head over to the Vintage Rose, and look at some vintage dresses....look forward to more wedding posts! xo
