Kitchen Surprises

When I got home from visiting my family, Clint had done some work in the kitchen!

This is the dining room, I just wanted to take a pic of my cupcake! Wedding gift from Chelsea!

The lighting is bad b/c it was late at night and I am using my iphone, but the cabinets are the same color as the stand mixer! We had some hardware that we switched out. They are not complete yet, but they look awesome! I need to decide what color to paint the trim around the window...maybe red?

Taco Tuesday I Can't Wake Up Edition

Good Morning! It's Tuesday, and I just got up thanks to my puppy alarm clock. It's not fair that now that I am up, they went back to sleep :(

I'm thinking of making some pumpkin pancakes for breakfast. Clint and I are both off together today! Maybe the smell of yumminess will get him out of bed! PS That jam is amazing, it's from France!

If I can get my ducks in a row, then I will be heading to SA to see my baby Avery. Apparently she is getting so big and even more adorable!

Today's To Do List:

1. Breakfast with Husband.

2. Go get DL's.

4. Pack my bags and hit the road!

I should get my oil changed and inspection done...but I've got a few days, I think.

Yarn Slut...

I feel like knitting. I have a couple patterns I want to figure out...I supplied some knitting music and merch! lol. Check out Cafe Press they have fun knitting wares.

Fifth Element Hair, Good Morning!

Good Morning! I am sooo sleepy...as you can see I just woke up:

My hair is very Fifth Element this morning minus the orange...lol

One more day of work, then a day off! I have stuff to do tomorrow, like hang out with Babycakes!

Spider Homicide and Grocery Shopping

After dinner, me and my friends went grocery shopping because it's no fun doing it alone. When we arrived at my house an insanely apocalyptic sized spider had spun its evil web of doom and was trying to take over the world. But that's what me and my friends usually do after dinner, so we had to take that zombie spider down! After lots of squealing and jumping around (that's how you defeat 5 headed spiders) we conquered over the spider and took all its pocky...oh and saved the world (again).

I love to play cooking mama, whether its on my Wii or DS...I suck, but I still like to play :)

This looks like something I have to have! Do they have this in America?

Ps: So I had this crazy dream with Clare Danes in it. She suddenly got amnesia and ended up in Vietnam where she was walking down a railroad track with a bike on her way to an underground casino?!

What Day Is It?

What is today? I have no idea? I've been sucked into a vortex of doom where I just work and sleep, and snuggle with puppies, and occasionally eat some Japanese. My husband is leaving today for more of the tour, so if your in NM and Colorado go support The Thrift Store Cowboys! I wish I could go....I heart Colorado!

I am working on organizing my new shared craft room...still have some work to do.... I also got some paint to paint my kitchen cabinets, and some cute cupcake fabric to make curtains out of. So if I get the itch I have stuff to keep me occupied.

Im trying to decide if I want to take the Home Ec class offered by Freckled Nest & Smile and Wave???? I can't decide....any opinions?

The Vicious Guns

Happy Monday! My fav person in the whole world is almost home! It's the first time since we've been married that he's been gone. While he was gone, I did some shopping, got my hair cut, went to a show, and watched some movies on netflix.

New hairs! T got me this hello kitty shirt with a cupcake on it!

I went out to support my old roomie Daniel Markum and his band One Wolf, and also got to see The Vicious Guns. They rocked!

I'm not offended by all the dumb-blonde jokes...

Today I am headed up to Mr. Tom's to get my hair cut. I've been debating it b/c I like my no hassel, never brush my hair style lol....but I need something less Mary-Kate Olsen and more Reese Witherspoon lol...

Last night I brushed my hair for the first time in forever and it poofed out Hermionie style! lol I should have taken a picture....

Clint will be surprised when he comes home, he'll think he got a new wife! lol

Well here are some pics I thought were cute from weheartit.com. I usually just tell my hairstylist the gist of it and she is so awesome that I never have to worry.

My friend Debra lets her hair grow out and then cuts it off to donate to locks of love, I think that is an awesome cause!

The website to pay for my teaching certification keeps messing up.

Becoming a teacher is expensive.

I got stuck in a dress I was trying on today.

Teresa had to get me out of it.

A Few Things to Do Before I Die, or the End of the Summer...

Today T and I went to the cupcakery, had hibatchi, and then Starbucks. A very eventful day! I bought Clint a shirt that looks like something someone from Gryffindor would wear...and I got attacked by a mamma bird. Speaking of getting attacked, I was petting this cat the other day, when we went to Clint's parents ranch, and out of no where it claws the crap out of me, right between my fingers....Well on to more important things than animal violence...

Insert # here _____ of things to do before I die:

1. Make my jam thumbprint cookies into the shape of hearts....

2. Make animal scarves like this one, found here
3. I have taken a picture of this before (this one is not mine) but I'd like a shirt from Austin with this on it, just like Kurt Cobain...sigh...
4. I would like a tattoo before I die...I'm still debating, I am a chicken...
5. Something I have actually done before, but not all pink...I am also thinking I want purple contacts just for fun lol...
6. I want to play DDR on one of these!
7. Today I've been thinking that I want to cut my hair. Something more mod and sophisticated. I like this one...what do you think?
What would you like to accomplish before the end of the summer? The #1 thing on my list is get a teaching job!

PS I had a dream that Nicholas Cage was a stand up comedian...it was a very strange dream...
