Today has been a long and stressful day. I am glad it is over. I am celebrating with a beer. I'm pretty sure I had the same look that Spike has on his face on mine all day. You know when you get to the end of your tether, and it's about to break and people are running away from you because they are pretty sure you are about to hulk out and cause major collateral damage, but then at the last second you eat some twizzlers, drink an energy drink, and call your sister to rant about the injustice of it all...and the day is saved. You take a deep breath, take care of business, then come home and put on your pikachu house shoes, pet your puppies, eat chocolate, listen to country music, and decide you're going thrifting tomorrow....yeah that about sums up my day.

Warm Squishy Feelings

Last night my husband rolled into town just in time for dinner. I made some yummy organic pasta. We had fun catching up and loving on puppies (they missed him bunches). Although he is a little worse for wear, I'll fatten him up in no time.

This is going to be my mantra for today, 'NO WHINING' ! Mostly, work makes me whine-y and I complain more than the average bear....but it's work so it's not supposed to be all puppies and rainbows. How do you keep a positive attitude when your job is bringing you down?

Yesterday I worked a bit on some projects I am working on. One project has a deadline (this Thursday), the other I've set up a quasi-deadline. I have a lot on my plate, and I for one would like to actually finish something I start lol.

Panic, Manic Panic

Today I never left my house or got out of my pj's. So most of my to do list from earlier never happened. Although I did wash my hair and make some brownies. I discovered that the manic panic I bought recently, thinking that it was lavender, was actually the toning stuff I was thinking about getting from Sally's. I am going to try it tomorrow and see if I get some rad white hairs. I love love manic panic because it's vegan, doesn't damage my hair, and is only semi permanent so I can change colors as often as I want. So obviously I have colored hair on the brain....

Is It Too Hot To Leave My House?

I've decided that when I grow up I want to be Ariel. Today would be a good day to be Ariel, since it's so hot, and she is dressed appropriately for the weather.....Also is Tangled out on dvd? My husband is heading home tomorrow! I'm super excited! I'm getting tired of hanging out by myself all the time. Clint just makes doing everything 10x's more fun!

It's hot outside, and I am drinking hot coffee. I get weird looks all the time, even when ordering. I have to specifically ask for it hot or they'll make it cold. I've cut way back on going to Starbucks, thanks to instant coffee!
